You can select the Paid tier later once you have a running application and is ready to release your project. As you can see, mongodb offers a Paid Tier and a Free Tier. ![]() MONGODB ATLAS REGISTRATIONOnce your registration is successful then it will ask you to create a cluster for your account. MONGODB ATLAS HOW TOI have used MongoDB UI in my case but learning how to do this in the CLI is a good skill to learn as well. You can either use the MongoDB CLI (Command Line Interface) or the MongoDB UI to do this. I used my personal google account to register so that it would take care of the authentication mechanism. Once done the VPC peering connection should be established.Ĭlick Route Tables on the right and edit the routing table for the VPC. Then accept the pending peering connection from MongoDB. Then select Yes and save.įrom the VPC dashboard click Peering Connections on the right. Right click the VPC and select Edit DNS Hostnames. Once done open the AWS VPC dashboard and right click the VPC and select Edit DNS Resolution. Fill in the AWS account ID and VPC information. Then autogenerate a secure password.įrom the Peering tab click New Peering Connection. Set the privileges to readWrite and set the database name. Next from the Security tab click Add New User. Choose the same provider and region as your Pritunl cluster. Name the cluster and select MongoDB 3.6 with WiredTiger. From the MongoDB Cloud Manager click Build a New Cluster. ![]()
